You can send free SMS to Nepal via email. Currently this is available to customers with mobile phone service from Ncell, previously called Mero Mobile.
To send SMS via email follow these step:
1. Open your favorite Email service (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, any email account).
2. Click “Compose New Email”
3. In “To:” filed type +977phonenumber@sms.ncell.com.np
4. Subject is optional
5. Type the text you want to send in the Message section
6. Send the email.
Note:
Do not forget to include the +977 in front of the mobile number.
Please limit your text to 140 characters, long emails might not be delivered successfully.
